⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Antivirus Detections (False Positives)
Because CLICKX is an independent utility that interacts directly with your operating system to automate mouse inputs and register global hotkeys, certain antivirus solutions (such as Windows Defender) may flag the file during download or installation.
Please rest assured: CLICKX is 100% safe, clean, and entirely free of malware or spyware.
Why is my antivirus flagging the file?
- Input Automation & Listeners: CLICKX simulates mouse clicks and listens for global shortcuts such as F6, which can resemble behavior monitored by antivirus software.
- The Executable Package: CLICKX is bundled with PyInstaller into a standalone .exe file, which some security engines flag until reputation is established.
- Lack of a Commercial Digital Signature: As an independent utility, CLICKX is not signed with a Microsoft developer certificate, so SmartScreen may show warnings.
How to run CLICKX safely
- In your browser, choose Keep or Allow download if the download is blocked.
- In Windows SmartScreen, click More info and then Run anyway.
- Add CLICKX.exe or its folder to your antivirus exclusions if it is automatically quarantined.
